How to get from ETH-Zentrum to the ETH-Hoenggerberg campus

Tram 9 or 10 -> Bus 69 -> ETH-Hoenggerberg
Walk to the ETH/Universitats-Spital tram stop on Ramistrasse outside the ETH main building (Hauptgebaude, HG). You should be on the side of the tram tracks further away from the ETH main building.
If you are coming from the Chemistry building (CHN), the closest tram stop is Haldenbach, one stop up the hill from the ETH/Universitats-Spital stop.

There are several different ways of choosing the day ticket on the ticket machine. One way is to press the blue "Stadtnetz" button on the lower part of the machine, and then to press the "<=>" double arrow key near the top of the machine (day ticket is the same as a round trip ticket). The ticket machines accept only coins unfortunately. Tickets have to be bought before boarding since no tickets are sold on trams or buses.

Take Tram 9 (in direction Hirzenbach) or 10 (in direction Seebach) to Milchbuck (8 stops from ETH/Universitats-Spital, stop before Milchbuck is Irchel).

• Tram 9 and 10 runs every 7 to 8 minutes during the day.
• Tram 9 is color-coded purple, while tram 10 is color-coded pink.
• Travel time from ETH/Universitats-Spital to Bucheggplatz is about 9 minutes.

Take Bus 69 (in direction ETH-Hoenggerberg) to the final stop ETH-Hoenggerberg (6 stops from Bucheggplatz).

• The Bus 69 bus stop is on the same platform that you exit onto at Bucheggplatz.
• There is a great view of Zurich city along Bus 69 route on the left side of the bus. You can even see the Alps on a clear day.
• Bus 69 runs every 7 to 8 minutes during the day.
• Travel time from Bucheggplatz to ETH-Hoenggerberg is about 8 minutes.

To get to the Institute of Molecular Biology and Biophysics (HPK building)

When you get off at the ETH-Hoenggerberg bus stop, walk along the road away from the big buildings to the small road which goes to the main garage (about 150 meters). Turn right and follow this short road, go up the iron stairs just where the garage entrance is and
follow the walkway in the same direction as the small road before. The walkway ends just in front of the institute.
